Our folk dances are a cultural-social expression of Israeliness., they are the widespread popular expression in what we are all partners. Behind these IFD dances, are deep roots of history, holidays, traditions, sociability, music and songs, singers and many people who have put thought and work into creating all this.
The act of documentation is significant for future generations. Expressing opinions freely and transparency of information are also important to the development of folk dancing.
“Rokdim-Nirkoda” will continue to bring you up-to-date articles, as well as interviews with key people who have shaped and still shaped the beautiful culture of folk dancing.
