This site is an archive for documenting and preserving our folk dance culture. All “Rokdim-Nirkoda” magazines from 1987 until today will be here. Hundreds of articles, stories, historical documentation, and much information about the hobby we all engage in – folk dances and dance in general. 

In August 2023, we received from the President of the State, Mr. Yitzhak Herzog, the award for Documentation and Preservation of Israeli Dance named after Yitzhak Navon

Unfortunately, the attempts to get a budget from the “section for folk dances” in the Ministry of Culture, have not been successful. That’s why we started a project here for “site support” and with your help, I’m sure I’ll get a budget for this important work
